I have no free time, how will I fit coaching in?

That's exactly why this coaching exists. Sessions are scheduled around your life, not the other way around. We work at a pace that Is sustainable for you, and the tools you will learn will actually create more time and energy not add to your load.

I'm not sure if I need coaching or therapy, what's the difference?

Therapy is brilliant for processing the past. Coaching is forward focussed, it's about building clarity, capacity, resilience and new ways of thinking and feeling right now. Many clients find coaching a powerful complement to therapy. If while working together, I feel you would benefit from additionally professional support, I will always tell you.

Could this be perimenopause? Will this help with that?

Possibly, and yes. Perimenopause is often a hidden driver or exhaustion, mood changes, brain for and overwhelm many women experience in their 40's. My health and nutrition coaching experience means I will take your hormonal health seriously and help you work with your body, rather than against it. If you do believe you are in perimenopause, I always recommend speaking to your GP for medical guidance.

I have tried mindfulness apps and they didn't work for me. Why is this different?

Apps are one-size fits-all. Your nervous system, your patterns and your life are unique, sometimes you need to up-regulate and sometimes you need to down-regulate. 1:1 coaching means the approach is shaped entirely around you, your history, your physiology, your schedule. There's also the accountability that comes from working with a real human who knows your story.

What if I start, the life gets in the way?

Life will always get in the way. The point of this coaching is to help you navigate real life more sustainably - not add another thing you struggle to keep up with. We build flexibility in from the start and I'm here to support you through the difficult bits, not judge you for them.

I feel embarrassed to admit I need help, Is that normal?

Yes, it's completely normal, and one of the most common things I hear. The women who work with Empowered Calm are capable, high-achieving and very intelligent. They have usually been holding it all together for a very long time. Asking for support isn't a weakness. It's the thing that actually changes things in your life.
